The largest country supported and UN supported indigenous led biocultural preservation
Biocultural preservation of Bwiti and sustainable cultivation of Iboga for future generations.

We need $350,000 to support the council of Bwiti elders led by Moubeyi Boule. Any funds up to $150,000 will be fully matched to initiate a council of Bwiti elders, shaping the future of preservation of equatorial Africa. Gabon is one of the countries that has signed the United Nations Nagoya Protocol protecting the biocultural of Bwiti and Iboga. This is an incredible case study in the future of indigenous led biocultural preservation.
