Strengthening Indigenous Sovereignty Through Rights of Nature Gatherings
Empowering Indigenous Communities to Protect and Preserve Their Lands Through Rights of Nature Laws

Anita Sanchez
This project will organize three pivotal gatherings over three years, bringing together representatives from diverse bioregions, Indigenous lawyers, youth, elders, and community leaders. These gatherings will foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and legal training, empowering Indigenous communities to implement Rights of Nature laws. This initiative aims to create a strong network of advocates and leaders who can champion the protection of Tribal lands, waters, and sacred sites in alignment with Indigenous values.
