Nominate climate and nature leaders for mindfulness and meditation retreats
Nominate climate and nature leaders at the forefront of the climate and nature crisis

Marina Mansilla Hermann
In response to the predominant grief, anxiety and frustration that is being felt by the climate and nature community, we have been organizing a series of regional retreats for climate and nature activists and leaders. These full immersion retreats are a unique opportunity to create space for deep listening, calm contemplation, personal resilience building and the renewal of our engaged and collaborative spirit.
We are now preparing for two retreats next year:
the Africa retreat taking place March 1st-7th at MSTCDC in Arusha, Tanzania.
the Oceania Retreat (May 4th-10th 2025) in Savusavu, Fiji
Europe (Oct 4-10th 2025) Plum Village France
Both Retreats will be facilitated by the monastics of the Plum Village monastery in France, founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
We are looking for nominations from across the whole spectrum of action (activists, NGO leaders, indigenous and youth leaders, leaders in corporate sustainability in the private sector, climate and nature funders, investors, scientists, negotiators, social entrepreneurs, media and communicators, policy makers etc). We also look for geographical, age, gender and minorities representation.
Criteria is:
• they must be in a position of influence and have the potential to bring in this practices to their organisations and networks,
• and/or
• would personally benefit from this experience at this time due to personal challenges (losses, health challenges, life transitions) or professional induced (anxiety, burn out, grief, etc)
What we would need from you:
• their name, title, organization and country of residence,
• their email
• a quick sentence as to why you think they would be a good fit for the retreat.
