Marine Debris Database Upgrade

Heal the Bay has organized beach and neighborhood clean-ups for 35-years and has removed over 2 million pounds of trash that otherwise would have ended up in our oceans. We ask volunteers to log what they find so we know how many cigarette butts, bottle caps, and fast food wrappers we are finding. We then use this information to advocate for policy changes. We need to upgrade the database to improve functionality and allow it to be publicly accessible so that the public and academia can use it.
