Grant Funding for Regenerating our Indigenous Society
We fulfill the basic needs of our community, cultivate agriculture, and uphold the traditional ceremonies of the Oglala Sioux, ensuring these ways remain enduring sources of pride and strength for our family, community, and youth.

Lynn Van Housen
We are committed to meeting the fundamental needs of people on this reservation, a place that has some of the most challenging health outcomes in America. To support individual households and nurture community resilience, we are seeking philanthropic funding for initiatives that strengthen our physical and our spiritual well-being.
Our key projects include a community garden aimed at providing fresh, nutritious food and fostering connection to the land, and holding our annual Sun Dance and Rites of Passage ceremonies, which are vital to connecting our youth to their heritage. We are filming many of these ceremonies to ensure that these traditions are not lost. These projects not only address immediate needs but also build a foundation for long-term health, empowerment, and cultural continuity within our community.
