Funds to recruit activists

Uganda has been under a dictatorship for 39 years. This has come with unimaginable levels of corruption(about $3 billion is lost in corruption every year), a terribly broken healthcare system with maternal mortality at 18 women per day, high infant mortality and deaths from preventable diseases, a dead education system etc, a broken justice system; half of Uganda’s prisoners are on remand and their cases have gone unheard for years, political prisoners, human rights violations, among others. My organization Agora is trying to document all these ills and to take accurate, factual information to the people so that we raise their consciousness to stand up against the corrupt officials and perpetrators of human rights violations.
To do this we need to have activists in all parts of the country to shine a light on issues affecting all regions and to relay this information to all the people at the grassroots.
