Psychosphere: A deep sea exhibition
Our exhibition make deep sea landscapes visible to people in a 50.000 square feet exhibition space, opening March 2025, and running for 10 months before touring internationally. We have the first 300.000 funded and need another 100.000 to finish the virtual production. The artwork is based on 5 years of documenting underwater volcanic landscapes.
The exhibition is made with leading deep sea research vessels, and eco-philosopher Melanie Challenger. The exhibition takes places at The Cisterns in Colenhagen, which usually has 100.000 visitors pr. Exhibition.
The artwork and exhibition is part of a series of exhibitions I am making on new environmental intelligences, showing at Beyler Foundation Switzerland, Mori Museum in Japan and The Cisterns in Copenhagen.
The exhibition is also the first step taken towards a major environmental video game.

- We have 300.000 funded from a combination of cultural and science foundations, but need another 100.000 to create the immersive digital production of the work.
- The exhibition includes a 44 speaker spatial sound system across a major subterranean exhibition space of 50.000 square feet at the world known Cisterns in Copenhagen, before traveling internationally.
- we are working with Rev Ocean on converting deep sea volcanoes filmed here the summer, into high detail virtual landscapes as well we 3D printed glass objects
- if you fund you can also receive a unique print from the project or a 3D printed glass sculpture
- The artwork is based on 10 years of major art exhibitions that has immersed more than a million people in poetic interpretations of changing ecosystems
- smaller financial support is also welcome and benefits can be discussed, such as unique studio visits, tour of the space, or smaller editions artworks.
